Upper Sixth Student Loïc Keasey Signs for Ealing Trailfinders
We are delighted to share that Upper Sixth student, Loïc Keasey, has signed to play professional Rugby with Ealing Trailfinders.
Loïc’s time at RGS has seen him receive England selection including playing for England in South Africa as part of the Under 18 Rugby squad while progressing through the Worcester Warriors (now Midlands West) Academy.
In addition to his Rugby triumphs, Loïc has represented England in Judo at the Commonwealth Games, all whilst being dedicated to representing RGS Worcester as Captain of the 1st XV which achieved victory at the 2022 Modus Challenge Cup match.
Loïc now joins Ealing Trailfinders where he will combine his Rugby with studying at Brunel University. Loïc said: “I am really excited about joining Ealing Trailfinders and developing my game to the next level. I know it will be hard but I am sure the support and experiences I have enjoyed at RGS and the mentoring provided by Mr Lewis will stand me in good stead. I will also be continuing my academic journey by combining my rugby playing aspirations with studying Sports Science and Coaching at Brunel University. I am hopeful that the course will provide tremendous insight and the skills as to how to maximise players abilities at all levels”.
Mr Matt Williams, Academy Manager at Ealing Trailfinders commented on Loïc’s signing saying: “This is a brilliant opportunity for Loïc. He has worked incredibly hard over the Academy League season and deserves this opportunity to continue developing his Rugby. We wish him all the best in this next step!”
On behalf of the RGS community we congratulate Loïc on his signing and wish him all the best in his further University studies and Rugby career.
