Last week, we welcomed local Barrister, Mr James Jarvis to present at our latest Careers Seminar at RGS Worcester. 

Following a four-day inspection in March, we are delighted to share the findings of the ISI Inspection Report, in which inspectors conclude that the Schools’ achieve the highest grading of ‘Excellent’ in all areas.

Three members of the RGS Support Staff volunteered to make the 1,750 mile journey out to the Ukraine border so that the right items could be purchased and the funds raised could be put to good use directly where it was needed. 

Congratulations to Upper Sixth student and RGS Music Scholar, Isabella, who has accepted her place to study on the prestigious and highly-competitive Royal Academy of Music’s Gap Year Programme.

RGS musicians were honoured to entertain esteemed guests last Friday evening, performing at the Mayor of Worcester’s 2022 Charity Dinner at Worcester’s Guildhall. 

RGS rowers from Year Ten to the Upper Sixth attended the RGS Worcester Boat Club Rowing Training Camp over Easter, at the outstanding Rowing facilities at Buckinghamshire’s, Dorney Lake, made famous as the venue of the London 2012 Olympic Regatta.

Well done to three pupils who represented the RGS Worcester Family of Schools at this year’s ‘Eventers Challenge’ equestrian event, held at Dallas Burston Polo Club in Warwickshire on Easter Monday.

We were very pleased to see RGS alumnus, Ed Pollock (2003-11), bag his maiden century in Worcestershire’s first match of the new Cricket season, in the County Championship against Leicestershire. 

RGS Worcester welcomed over 70 exhibitors and more than 650 visitors to our annual Careers & Higher Education EXPO event on Thursday 7 April. 

On Monday 4 April, musicians from the RGS Chamber Choir had the exciting opportunity to perform in the iconic London landmark, St Paul’s Cathedral.
