The Archery talents of Year Ten pupil, Emelia Hughes do not seem to have been hindered by the past twelve months of Covid-19 restrictions.
Whilst the classrooms of RGS were quiet during the Internal Exams week that has just passed, the virtual, online airwaves around RGS were well and truly ‘alive with the Sound of Music’.
For this year’s House Film Making, pupils were given the theme of ‘Movie Magic’, where they were challenged to create a 30 second to two minute short film.

The pandemic has brought many challenges for RGS Sport. It has, however, also provided opportunities and one of these is that a group of senior girls have been able to continue with indoor Hockey training in their Games lessons during the Trinity term.
Following Saturday’s emphatic victory against King’s School, the 1st XI Cricket team maintained their good form with a comprehensive victory over the Gentlemen of Worcestershire this week.
On 1 January I began the virtual End2End #LEJOG9 challenge of running and walking the distance from Land’s End to John O’Groats.
