We were delighted to welcome back three RGS Alumni this week for an Oxbridge Q&A session aimed at current pupils in the Middle School and Lower Sixth who are thinking of applying to Oxford or Cambridge Universities.

Our annual Christmas with the Big Band Concert proved as popular as ever when, on the evening of Monday 12 December, Perrins Hall was filled with the sound of jazzy carols, classic Christmas pop songs and the chinking of mulled punch-filled glasses.
The RGS Fencing Gala took place on Sunday 11 December with 95 fencers in 37 teams from 15 schools participating in over seven hours of fencing.
Nothing demonstrates RGS’s Christmas festivities better than our Carol Service which took place on the evening of Thursday 15 December in Worcester Cathedral.
RGS Worcester pupils and their families have made a tremendous effort to support local communities at Christmas by making Christmas boxes for the New Hope Worcester Children’s Charity and collecting food donations to support the Worcester Food Bank Appeal.
On Friday 9 December we celebrated RGS Rugby at the Senior Boys Rugby Dinner.
The Mince Pie Head 2023, hosted by Worcester Rowing Club, provided the perfect festive finale to the year for the rowers.
At the end of this term, we are saying ‘goodbye’ to Richard Houchin, the Director of Admissions & Assistant Head (Academic) as he takes on the challenge of a new post in Cheltenham.
At the start of the academic year, the House competition began in earnest with a keenly contested Badminton event.
