RGS rowers were invited to participate in a Stay-at-home Regatta organised by Monmouth Boys’ School. 35 teams of four took part including 4 teams of RGS rowers and 3 teams of parents (rowing under the banner of the Pullinger Boat Club).

At 6.50 pm on Tuesday I nervously sat in my living room hoping to run a school concert online from my armchair; an hour later I breathed a deep and sincere sigh of relief after what had been a hugely successful and enjoyable Piano Concert.
Four Debaters from RGS Worcester had a successful online practice run on Saturday 25 April in preparation for the ICYD Finals Weekend.
RGS Worcester has been busy supporting the national call for assistance with providing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the NHS. The Design and Technology department submitted a design for face visor masks and received the go-ahead to start production.
Over the last two weeks Mrs Bishop and Mrs Matthews from the Textiles Department have produced over 50 scrub sacks that have been sent to the charity ‘For the Love of Scrubs’ who have rapidly responded to the need for scrub supplies in the local area.
Congratulations to Dr Andrew, Assistant Head Pastoral, and to Mrs Sullivan, Head of Rowing who both completed 2.6 challenges in their own homes, raising funds for charities.
We are delighted to see the works being published once again of Mr Ian Venables, nationally acclaimed composer and former teacher at RGS Worcester.
