Pupils participating in the Athlete Development Programme (ADP), along with our keen Rugby players, had the opportunity to hear from former Welsh International Rugby player Rhys Thomas. 

We are delighted to announce that 40 RGS Worcester pupils have been selected to play Hockey in County, Regional and National Hockey Squads this season. 

This term sees Boys Hockey introduced to the Games programme at RGS Worcester for pupils in Years Seven and Eight, with pupils having the opportunity to access the new Worcester International Hockey Centre pitches for training and match play.

The RGS Film Maker’s Club is a popular choice with pupils from Years Seven to the Upper Sixth Form, meeting weekly to share a love of film. 

RGS Drama and Music Scholar, Sasha, stars in episode 6 of the current mystery drama series broadcast on Netflix, playing the piano prodigy daughter of Police Detective Doldberg. 

Year Ten pupils, give an account of their experience in the recent International Competition for Young Debaters’.

The spotlight shone on RGS alumna and Debating Coach, Amber Warner-Warr recently as she proposed the motion in the Oxford Union’s annual ‘No Confidence in Her Majesty’s Government’ debate.

This week, the Art Department’s Scholars were invited to attend a drawing workshop at the Museum of Royal Worcester, with professional artists from ‘Planet Art’.

Our Football, Netball and Table Tennis Sport teams, have had a fantastic start to the new term.
