Members of the RGS Literary Society (LitSoc) enjoyed a very Gothic exploration of London last week, bringing to life some of the backdrops and characters that can often be found in the pages of Gothic Literature.

As the RGS Billingham Society continues to enrich and inspire our pupils, the Advanced Billingham Society challenged pupils in Years Eleven to Upper Sixth recently to consider the topic: ‘The Controversies of the British Empire’.

This term, members of the Environment Committee have been stepping up activity to help inspire RGS Worcester to become a greener, and more sustainable school environment.

It has been a busy time for the RGS Netball players who have enjoyed taking part in tournaments across the County and playing highly competitive Netball.

It was fantastic to see the RGS Senior Girls’ Hockey Teams return to playing competitive Hockey fixtures this week.

The RGS Amnesty Youth Group are an affiliated group, and our lunchtimes are spent educating pupils about human rights abuses all over the world and campaigning to stop them.

The RGS Worcester Library is at the heart of the School and is a welcoming and quiet space for pupils to read and study throughout the day.

With the start of December and the Christmas holidays in sight, the RGS Worcester Family of Schools have some spectacular Christmas festivities planned for the coming weeks, providing joyful celebration and showcasing the talents of the pupils in our four Schools.

We have enjoyed a fabulous week of theatre at RGS Worcester, as the School Production, ‘Billy Elliott’ welcomed and ‘wowed’ audiences each night of the week.

The Debating season for 2021-2022 is now underway with Senior debaters finding great success at Warwick Schools 2021, and the first round of the ESU Mace Competition.
