RGS Hockey players have enjoyed a series of pre-season training sessions focusing on skills, tactical awareness and building fitness in preparation for an exciting Hockey season ahead.

Congratulations to Year Seven pupil, Cameron Henry, who has qualified for the Delancey UK Schools’ Chess Challenge Terafinal.

Congratulations to Year Eleven RGS pupil Jacob Bunyan who competed in the Worcester City Young Athletes Run last weekend, winning the Under 16 Boys race.

We hope you enjoyed visiting the trail of beautifully decorated elephant sculptures that were on display throughout Worcester City over the summer as part of ‘Worcester’s Big Parade’, raising funds for St Richard’s Hospice.

Congratulations to Ms Freeman and Mr Newport, both long standing RGS teachers, who married over the summer.

This Trinity term has been a very close contest between all four Houses, with Elgar making a strong claim for the Trinity trophy and some tough talking between the House Leaders across the 16 events.

The Lower School Code Club have been having fun this term, using their iPads to create their own 3D landscapes, using virtual and augmented reality systems.

We have had a fantastic ‘Activities Week’ at RGS Worcester this week, with pupils (and staff!) having fun participating in outdoor adventures at nearby Oaker Wood Activity Centre and onsite at School.

Miss Briggs and Mrs Harkness had a fantastic morning this week visiting Grimley and Holt CE Primary School, and delivering a Science activity as part of the RGS Outreach Partnerships charter.
