Digital Learning Programme

Enhancing teaching and learning

After launching in September 2014, the Digital Learning Programme (DLP) in the Senior School has gone from strength to strength. Today, every pupil comes to school with an iPad whilst teachers are equipped with a MacBook, iPad and Apple Pencil. Digital learning is no longer just a vision, it is a reality that facilitates outstanding teaching and learning, every single day.

Enhancing the learning experience

To achieve our vision, we rely on a dynamic technology platform that helps to drive the learning and teaching we see in our classrooms. We have embedded Apple technology across all our academic departments and ensured teachers have access to the latest Apple technology whilst providing ongoing, personalised professional learning opportunities to help them use it. Indeed, we have developed the capabilities of both our staff and our pupils so they can realise the benefits of digital technology in enhancing teaching and learning. As a consequence, our students leave RGS Worcester digitally literate both for their university studies and for the 21st-century workplace. Our Digital Learning Programme is all about enhancing the learning experience and preparing our students for their bright futures.
