Exploring and developing new interests
There are over 40 clubs and societies at RGS Worcester, ranging from Astronomy to Wind Band. Pupils enjoy busy lunchtimes and after school sessions exploring new interests or developing their understanding of existing ones.
if your child has an interest that we don’t yet cover in our clubs and societies then we will try to start up a club for them.
Over 40 Clubs and Societies
For example, we promote our pupils’ creativity through Textiles Club, Film Maker’s Club, learning the Ukulele or being part of one of our dramatic productions. Pupils can expand on their academic interests through Astronomy Club at our observatory, Book Clubs, Anatomy Club and Computer Coding. As well as all of this, Debating gains ever more popularity and success as an important choice for our students.
We are always looking to expand our range of activities and encourage our pupils to form their own societies that the School can support. We are careful to ensure that students reflect on the skill base they build from their choices of activities so that they individually benefit from clubs and societies.
