Digital Educators Represent The RGS Worcester Family of Schools at the BETT Show 2023

It was fantastic for our Digital Geniuses to visit ExCel London once again, for the eagerly anticipated BETT Technology Show 2023. The Bett Show brings together over 550 leading exhibitors and sponsors and attracts over 20,000 attendees from the global education community and we have attended every BETT Show since 2009.

On Wednesday, Director of Innovation, Mr John Jones, was joined by staff and pupils from all four RGS Worcester Schools at the BETT Show. Despite some challenges in getting to London such as train strikes and delays, staff illness and a trainline fire (!) the group made it to BETT 2023 and had a wonderful time. Pupils were delighted to join Albion Computers and demonstrate how they utilise their iPads using workflow solutions and feedback loops.

On Thursday, Mr Jones chaired a panel discussion on #Edtech Hubs/Digital Strategy with a focus on Maths in the Bett Academy Live alongside Natasha Dolling, Maths Director at Leon Academy,  Teaching and Learning Lead Emma Otter and Microsoft Training Academy’s Paul Edge.

It was a great experience to be back at the BETT Show, surrounded by positivity, creativity, ideas, passion and optimism. The future of education really does have a bright future, especially with the inspiration of our own pupils who are so impressive.
