RGS Worcester Sixth Form students celebrate superb results

A wonderful morning at RGS Worcester celebrating excellent results following the return to Public Exams being sat by the students for the first time since 2019. Our focus on Results Day today has been to support the students and almost every student has achieved their chosen University places, so the RGS students can now look forward to the next stage, whilst taking with them many fond memories of their time at school.

There were superb achievements at A Level with well over half of all grades at A*/A in such a wide range of subjects. In the BTECs on offer, 85% of all Grades were the top Distinction*/ Distinction and 100% A*-B Grades were achieved in the EPQ.

Headmaster, John Pitt, commented, “We are delighted with these results for our students who were sitting Public Exams for the first time this year after the pandemic. Without the experience of sitting GCSEs, they have shown great resilience and achieved the high grades they need for the next stage of their lives. I would also like to congratulate their teachers who kept teaching them successfully through the pandemic and have prepared them so well. It is always a team effort here at RGS, and I know the students will appreciate the support and encouragement they have received during their time here. They have been so impressive as a Year group and we all wish them the very best for the future as they look forward to the next exciting chapter of their lives.”
