About our award-winning Careers Programme
The School has a very forward thinking ‘Rolls-Royce’ standard Careers programme, which benefits pupils from a very early age. It is an award-winning service recognised by the Chamber of Commerce as the best education and business partnership in Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

The service is personalised, objective and flexible and seeks to secure the best outcomes for both its students by providing a wide range of opportunities for Professional and Industry insight throughout their time at RGS Worcester.
The Careers Department at RGS Worcester is here to guide and support pupils who are making important decisions about their future throughout their career, whether that is in Year Seven or Upper Sixth and even beyond school. Our objective is to give each individual the guidance and support they need in a supportive environment.
Pupils are encouraged to work closely with the Head of Careers, their tutor, and subject teachers, who all provide a network of support in terms of information, resources and advice either through our dedicated Departmental area or through our excellent PSHCE programme, which enables the pupils to explore different Career pathways and begin to formulate ideas about where their life will take them. The Careers Department recognises that pupils can feel overwhelmed when making career decisions and university course choices, but we do all we can to guide and encourage as much as necessary.
We have a Designated Careers Lead for the school, Mrs Audrey Williams and we are working in all areas of the curriculum to the 8 Gatsby benchmarks.
RGS Worcester is currently working with InvestIN, a London-based organisation led by a group of experienced professionals from some of the world’s most competitive careers.
