The Big Push
On Sunday 25 September celebrities, sports stars, teachers, friends and family will take part in The Big Push, a charity initiative to support pupil, Libby Parker, and other children who suffer with Long Covid.
“I tested positive with Covid-19 on the 1st August 2021 and was asymptomatic, however, 4 weeks later I started to struggle”, said Libby.
“Since then, I have struggled with fatigue, nausea, racing heart, brain fog, and various other symptoms. I have been unable to attend school full time, most weeks 3 hours has been my limit, some weeks I haven’t been able to go in at all.
“I will be asking supporters to push me the length of a marathon around Worcester to raise awareness and funds for ‘Long Covid Kids’. They provide essential support for children and their families who are trying to navigate the difficult world of Long Covid. The event will finish at RGS Worcester, so please join us and give generously.”
