Year Seven Pupil Poppy Breese to Represent England at Dance World Cup
We are delighted to share the news that Poppy Breese (Year Seven) will represent both RGS and England at the prestigious Dance World Cup in Braga, Portugal at the end of this month alongside her fellow dancers from Harlequin Stage School.
Through tireless fundraising efforts, Poppy has secured her place at the Dance World Cup, where she will have the chance to showcase her ability and talent to an international audience.
The Dance World Cup will start with an enchanting opening parade on Friday 30 June. Poppy, together with dancers from different nations, will fill the streets of Braga with colour, energy, and a shared love for dance. Poppy’s first performance at the Dance World Cup will be a ballet titled ‘Lord of the Dance’, featuring an Irish twist.
We are incredibly proud of Poppy’s accomplishments and we wish her and her fellow dancers from Harlequin Stage School the best of luck!
For those who wish to support Poppy and follow her progress, live streams of the Dance World Cup will be available on the official DWC website, www.dwcworld.com.
