No, none of our nursery settings require children to be potty trained prior to starting. We like the child to lead with toileting and will support families when a child is ready to start potty training.

All our nursery settings require you to supply nappies. Please speak to our individual nursery settings regarding the supply of wipes. 

We can also accommodate cloth nappies and wipes at all of our nursery settings. We ask that parents provide enough clean cloth nappies daily in a small bag. The nappies will not be washed at nursery and returned home at the end of each day with your child.

Nappies, wet wipes, nappy cream and a spare change of clothes can be stored at the nursery in their individual box or bag.

Nursery safety is paramount to us and each of our nurseries will have a health and safety policy individual to their business, but there are a number of areas that are consistent for all settings.

All staff across all our nursery settings undergo enhanced Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) checks before they are allowed to be with the children. References are also taken up prior to starting work.

All toys and equipment across our nursery settings are of a high quality and regular risk assessments on equipment and procedures are carried out to ensure everything is maintained to the highest standard.

Regular Fire Drills are carried out with the children so that they become familiar with the routine, and should we have an emergency, we will be able to clear our buildings quickly and safely.

Across all our nursery settings we operate a password system to unknown people picking children up. When the unknown person comes to collect the child they will be asked for the password before being allowed entry and to pick up the child.

In line with government and NHS recommendations, we have put many additional measures in place across all of our nursery settings. These cover areas relating to nursery access restrictions, social distancing, and hygiene practices. Please refer to our individual nursery Covid-19 procedures for full details for the setting.

Yes, this is an important part of your child’s transition to nursery and all of our nursery settings have a process in place for this. Please speak to our nurseries for details on their process and to discuss your child’s induction.

We can accommodate all dietary and cultural requirements including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and nut-free across all our nurseries. For full details on menus and alternatives, please contact the individual nursery setting.

Yes, we accept all childcare vouchers from employer schemes across all our nursery settings. 

All three and four-year-olds are entitled to 15 hours (up to five 3hr sessions in a week) of free nursery education in the term following their 3rd birthday, for 38 weeks of the year. This applies until they reach compulsory school age (the term following their fifth birthday).  In addition, from September 2021, we are pleased to offer 30 hours funded places (term time only) for eligible children.
