Congratulations to Year Nine pupil Sasha Penlington, who has achieved another impressive musical milestone, passing her recent ATCL Piano Examination with Distinction. 

We were pleased to welcome families to the School’s Flagge Meadow Sports Ground, in the latest in the Ukrainian Community events hosted by the RGS Worcester Family of Schools held just before Half term.

On Friday 27 May, nearly 60 debaters, past and present, gathered in Perrins Hall for the Debating Society Dinner. This was a fabulous occasion, giving us the opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the Debating Society not just in the 2021-22 season but over the last nine years.

The Athletics season at RGS Worcester has been in full swing during the Trinity term, seeing multiple competitions across the various ages here at the School. 

Congratulations to all pupils who participated in this year’s Junior Physics Challenge, with RGS achieving excellent results of 10 Gold, 21 Silver and 92 Bronze Awards.

Year Seven pupil Cameron Henry was given a tremendous opportunity during the May Half term by training with the Manchester City Football Academy in Abu Dhabi.

Congratulations to RGS Head of Athletics and Strength & Conditioning, Mr Biddle who ran 46.56 seconds for the 400m on Saturday.

Excitement is mounting for the forthcoming School Production of ‘The Bacchae’. With opening night now just a few weeks away, the committed, talented and enthusiastic cast and crew have been working hard.

It is with great pleasure that we congratulate Upper Sixth student, LoÏc Keasey who has been selected to form part of the Under 18 England International squad that will tour South Africa this summer.

This term the RGS Worcester Family of Schools has welcomed new pupils who have left their homes in Ukraine to seek refuge in the UK.
