This week the RGS Worcester Table Tennis A team made their competitive debut at the Table Tennis County Championships held at Bromsgrove School Sports Arena.

RGS Worcester Fencers had a busy weekend, attending the Cocks Moors Woods Epee Championships at the Tudor Grange Leisure Centre in Solihull.
The RGS Holiday Club is open to all children between the ages of 2 to 13 years and offers a wonderful variety of activities to engage all interests including: Horse Riding, Swimming, Climbing, Bushcraft, Drama, Art, Themed days and parties, Trampolining, Football, Rugby, Dance, Cooking and Go Karting.
On Thursday, as we marked 100 years since the nation’s collective Remembrance traditions were first brought together, a commemorative Remembrance film was broadcast across the School to give pupils and staff the opportunity to reflect and remember.
We were very pleased to hear from our partner school, Tongo Senior High School in Ghana this week, and receive these wonderful photographs showing pupils using iPads donated by The RGS Worcester Family of Schools.
The first week back at school after Half term has seen numerous musical performances at RGS.
We were delighted to hear from Chemistry graduate and RGS Alumni, Harry Gemmill this week and discover more about his career in Science since leaving RGS in 2017.
Last month, RGS Worcester hosted a Hockey event to support ‘Hockey for Heroes’ – a national charity which aims to use Hockey to promote and raise funds for Help for Heroes charities.
Year Seven pupils were allocated to their Houses in the House System at RGS this week. For the first few weeks of term, the pupils enjoy Form competitions so they get to know one another before being allocated to one of the Houses and meeting pupils from all Year groups in their House.
Congratulations to Dan Varughese and Eleanor Fawcett, Lower Sixth, who were successful this year in gaining prestigious Arkwright Scholarships.
