It has been another busy fortnight in the Music Department, with two performance events from our older musicians. On Thursday 7 October, the Sixth Form musicians treated us to a high-quality evening showcase, with fifteen students performing solos or duets.
After an early 5.30am meet at RGS Worcester’s Design & Technology Department, we took the school minibus to the Goodwood race track for the Greenpower International Finals event.
This week the RGS Worcester Family of Schools delivered a special Apple Regional Training Centre (RTC) online event, aimed at advising the parental school community on the use of social media, screen-time as well as the wider aspects of navigating and parenting a digital childhood.
Last week we visited a local primary school, Our Lady Queen of Peace Primary School just over the River Severn in St John’s.
We congratulate RGS alumnus, Benjamin Caron (1985-94), who has recently been honoured with the accolade of winning an Emmy Award for his work on the popular Netflix series, The Crown.
