Field Weekend saw the annual Gold DofE Paddling trip to North Wales with 20 Sixth Form students and four members of staff heading off to the Arete Outdoor Centre, Llanrug.

Congratulations to Year Eleven pupil and expert Archer, Emelia Hughes who became the UK Under 18 Master Champion in Archery last weekend. 

The work of RGS Textiles pupils continues to impress judges at the Young Fashion Designer UK competition, as pupils from all Year groups ranked high with their exciting garment designs.

Drama is a big part of life at RGS and, alongside Academic lessons and Co-curricular clubs, pupils can take lessons in LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art).

It has been a busy and successful start to the Hockey season, with RGS Hockey teams relishing the opportunity to return to playing competitive Hockey. 

Lower Sixth Art students were out and about this week, visiting various locations in Worcester, capturing the City and Worcester Cathedral’s architectural splendour through sketches and drawings.

Head of Girls’ Cricket, Thea Brookes had an exciting and energetic summer this year, playing in The Hundred Cricket tournament as part of the Birmingham Phoenix Women’s team.

With theatres now welcoming audiences back safely to enjoy watching live performance, Year Ten Drama pupils were thrilled to visit the New Alexandra Theatre in Birmingham last week.

The School Captains, Senior Prefects, House Captains and Prefects for the 2021-2022 academic year were appointed at the start of term in a special Assembly held in the School’s majestic Perrins Hall.
