On a rather wet day in November 2020, our School Captains became the stars of our Virtual Tour Film, showcasing school life at RGS Worcester to prospective new pupils and their families.

Mr John Jones, Director of Innovation for the RGS Family of Schools, has been busy sharing his teaching and technology expertise in his latest published article ‘To Meet or to Zoom: should that be the question?’

We were very excited to learn that artwork created by some of our Year Seven Pupils, whilst they were in Year Five at RGS The Grange, has finally been included in an Exhibition at The National Gallery in London.

Back in January 2020, one of our School Captains, Zain Baig, qualified for the National Finals of the Historical Association Great Debate with his speech on The Crusades. This was in response to the question posed by the Historical Association: ‘Should we judge historical figures by the morals of today?’

In spite of all the restrictions from Covid-19, the RGS Worcester community really pulled out all the stops to fundraise during the Michaelmas term. In November, we ‘Wore Something Pink’ – looking splendid and raising funds for ‘Breast Cancer Now’

Staff and pupils at RGS Worcester have been feeling rather festive this week. We have seen much excitement with activities such as Christmas Debating, Christmas Quizzing, the Virtual Carol Concert, and finishing off the Michaelmas term today with Christmas lunch.

Despite the inevitable Covid-19 restrictions in place here at RGSW, it has been an incredibly busy and exciting term in Lower School. Now that our Year Seven pupils are fully settled into the Senior School and inducted into the RGSW House system, Mr Davis and Mrs Houchin decided to continue with the fiercely

After seven years as Head of Rowing at RGS Worcester, we bid a fond farewell to Jane Sullivan. Jane has achieved a huge amount in her time at the School and her commitment to the cause has been unwavering, with countless hours spent behind the scenes preparing crews and boats for competition.

To commemorate the annual Computer Science Education Week, Pupils at RGS Worcester have taken part in a range of exciting coding activities to learn about algorithms, computational-thinking and programming, through a combination of lesson activities and Co-curricular events.

What a term! With Co-curricular activities heavily affected by Covid-19, the House System has remained stubborn and determined in order to ensure that the contest continues. With a new look House leadership team, we welcomed our new shiny Captains, and new House Leaders
