‘Superball’ Saturday
Excitement is building at RGS as the 1st VII and 2nd VII Netball teams prepare to compete in this year’s ‘Superball’. The RGS Worcester teams will play against King’s School at the University of Worcester Arena, home of the Worcester Wolves Basketball team on Saturday 11 February.
This annual event is very much a sporting highlight of the school calendar, providing the opportunity for the Senior teams from both Schools to showcase their skills, hard work and the opportunity to play at an arena with a 1,400 spectator capacity. This opportunity will be one that players and pupils will never forget.
Head of Netball, Miss Ellie Gibbons, commented “I have been so excited to see all the hard work that has been put in by the girls in the lead up to ‘Superball’, and am excited to witness them relish the opportunity to show everybody just how brilliant they are. Thank you to parents and staff members who have supported the RGS Netball teams this season; we hope we can bring home the trophy for you all!”
Supporters are invited to attend the match. Tickets are priced at £6 and are available to be purchased online at www.ticketline.co.uk. Tickets will be available on the day at a cost of £8, these tickets must also be purchased prior to attending the games as tickets will not be available on the door. Doors will be open from 3.30pm for the 2nd VII game at 4.00pm. The 1st VII game will start at 6.00pm.
Please do join us for an exciting evening of sport. We wish both the 1st VII and 2nd VII teams the best of luck for their forthcoming game, and we look forward to welcoming you to the University Arena.
